About Maruwu Seicha

Maruwu Seicha is one of the tea houses listed in San Jose, California. The business is registered at 100 N Almaden Ave #184, San Jose, CA 95110; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip.

Hours at these spots often run into the evening, later than a typical coffee shop, and many stay open on weekends when demand is highest in San Jose. Seasonal and limited-time drink or dessert flavors are common, so a shop's current menu can differ from what is posted online; checking recent photos or calling ahead helps. Some locations in California are dessert-only with no seating, meant for takeout, while others have cafe-style seating for staying a while. Straws for bubble tea are typically wide to accommodate the toppings, and are provided automatically unless you ask for a regular one. Loyalty apps and stamp cards are common at chain locations, and ordering ahead through an app can shorten a wait considerably at busy locations during peak after-school and after-dinner hours.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 am–8:30 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Maruwu Seicha at (669) 230-3943; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, maruwuseicha.us.

Its Google rating is 4.0 out of 5 from 86 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.

The ube matcha latte was creamy, smooth, and beautifully balanced. The earthy matcha paired really well with the sweet, rich ube flavor, making it a unique and delicious drink. Definitely a must try for anyone who loves matcha and ube! πŸ’œπŸ΅

If you're a matcha lover like me and you're here on a hot day you should come here. I got the special Hawaiian Ube Iced Matcha Latte, and it was very good the Ube and Matcha blends together to make this heavenly earthy flavor that gives you a refreshing break from the heat. They also have ice cream flavors that I didn't try but look very good. The people who work there are very nice and although there is a line, your drinks are made very fast. :)

Matcha latte at Maruwu Seicha for the weekend πŸ΅πŸ’š Rich, creamy Hokkaido whole milk with a bold, fragrant matcha flavor, smooth and not overly sweet. The matcha jelly was a bit softer than I expected, but overall a solid, comforting cup. Definitely coming back to try other drinks ✨

My order came rather quickly, and I was so excited to taste it!! To my surprise, they didn’t have a seating area, but it’s kind of a giant open cafeteria style seating. But some restaurants have a table out in front. I was able to sit right across the walkway from the entrance and enjoy my iced Matcha self-serve and Ube tartlet!! The obey tartlet was the perfect little snack to hit the spot, but I was kind of disappointed in the amount of ice or lack of oat milk that was in my drink! The whole cup was literally filled to the brim with ice and I was able to drink the Matcha portion of the latte within seconds of sipping.(see enclosed picture). As I sat checking my emails, I noticed the barista behind the counter come out from behind the counter, still wearing his glove gloves and go to the restroom, which is right across the way. I wasn’t sure if he was going to the bathroom and would change his gloves afterwards so then I was curious…… I stopped waiting a couple minutes as the gentleman went to the bathroom and then came out still wearing the same gloves! Disgusting!! Because of this sanitary issue, I’m giving them two stars!! Everyone has to go to the bathroom and I’m understa

I honestly found it, okay. There is a lot of hype around this place, so I have to check it out, and I was honestly a little underwhelmed. It is located in sort of a food court, so it’s a takeaway only. I tried the Matcha latte with pistachio and honestly, the combination did not do it for me. Might have been better of just having plain matcha latte. The desserts looked good though.
